Despite ceasefire declaration, Turkish military plane lands in Al-Wattaya & Misurata

TRIPOLI – Italmilradar has tracked flight from Turkey to Libya on Friday.

a Turkish Lockheed C-130E coming from Istanbul landed in Misurata before it made another flight to Al-Watiya airbase, south of Zwara, according to the Italian website which specializes in tracking air movement in the Mediterranean.

In the afternoon, at 3.30 pm CEST , the aircraft then took off again for Turkey via Misrata again, Italmilradar said.

This comes after the Turkey-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli had announced earlier on Friday the cessation of all of its military operations in the country.
