Egypt FM discusses developments of Libya crisis with Greece President

ATHENS – The President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, received on Tuesday Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, as part of his current visit to the Greek capital, Athens.

The spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Hafez, stated that the meeting dealt with a number of regional issues of common interest, on top of which are developments related to the Libyan crisis and the situation in the eastern Mediterranean region.

Shoukry also reviewed the Egyptian vision towards the region’s files, highlighting the efforts made in this regard in order to resolve these crises in order to restore stability and peace and achieve prosperity for the peoples of the region.
