The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – The militia of “Osoud Tajoura Battalion” in Tripoli issued a statement regarding what it called “the recent incident of treachery and betrayal that the city witnessed,” noting that it regrets the situation in Tripoli and the breach of its security at the hands of what it described as “abusers and criminal outlaws in a dangerous precedent of treachery. Treason and criminality, “according to the statement.

The statement, published on the militia’s Facebook page, continued that it complied with the orders issued by the so-called Minister of Defense of Al-Sarraj Government, Salah Al-Nimroush as well as Chief of Staff Mohamed Al-Haddad, to quickly disengage and end it immediately.

“We believe in the necessity to adhere to the hierarchy within the military establishment,” it said.

It is noteworthy that clashes erupted on Friday between two armed factions loyal to the Sarraj Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tajoura, east of Tripoli.

Tajoura witnessed mutual bombing operations between the “Al-Daman” and “Osoud Tajoura” militias in the Bir Al-Usta area due to differences between the elements of the two militias.
