LNA’s Chief of General Staff: Airports remain closed until preventative measures issued

BENGHAZI – The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan National Army (LNA) and the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Coronavirus Pandemic, Lieutenant-General Abdel Razek Al-Nadouri, stated on Thursday that airports in eastern Libya will remain close until the committee issues preventive measures.

In a letter addressed by the rapporteur of the Coronavirus Committee, Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Al-Ramli, to the President of the Civil Aviation Authority and the Director General of Benina International Airport, Al-Nadouri ordered the both to continue to close airports until coordination with the committee to take the necessary preventive measures.
