An oil source said that Libya’s production of crude has currently risen to 680,000 barrels per day.

“The current production level implies a big jump from about 500,000 barrels per day earlier in the month,” the source said.

On Monday, the National Oil Corporation announced the lifting of the force majeure of the El Feel oil field and the complete end to the closures in all Libyan oil fields and terminals, which began last January.

Last week, the NOC expected production to rise to one million barrels per day within a few weeks.
