PARIS – The Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) will receive 10 helicopters from Airbus soon as part of its partnership with European aerospace corporation, said Fathi Bashagha, GNA’s Interior Minister, on Friday.
The purchased Airbus helicopters will be used in “fighting organised crime, terrorist groups and human trafficking,” Bashagha tweeted following a meeting with Airbus officials in Paris.
“Also search and rescue missions, boarder and coast control and civil safety missions,” he added.
