Al-Sarraj calls for an urgent meeting to resolve the crisis of freezing oil revenues

The Libyan Address Journal

The President of the Presidency Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, has called a number of ministers and heads of sovereign institutions to a meeting to resolve what he called “the crisis of freezing oil revenues.”

This came in a letter that al-Sarraj sent to each of the presidents of the State Council, the Tripoli-based members of the House of Representatives, the head of the National Oil Corporation, the governor of the Central Bank of Libya, the heads of the Audit Bureau, the Administrative Control Authority, and the Ministers of Planning and Finance.

Al-Sarraj said that the meeting is a matter of legal and historical responsibility, to spare the country “the dangers of wars and further fragmentation and separation.”
