Bashagha considers benefiting from Turkish defense industries in the security field

The Minister of Interior in the Government of National Accord, Fathi Bashagha, discussed with the Director-General of the Turkish “Baykar Savunma” Company for Defense Industries, Haluk Bayraktar, ways of cooperation between the two sides, “and to benefit from the company’s expertise to raise the efficiency of the security work at the Ministry of Interior.”

The meeting, which was held at the office of the Ministry of Interior in Tripoli, touched on “developing work in the ministry in line with security and police work in the developed country,” according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior.

The meeting comes “within the framework of research and development work in the Ministry of Interior by making use of international companies specialized in the field of security and police work,” the statement said.
