TRIPOLI – The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on Wednesday announced rehabilitating three schools in the Libyan capital Tripoli that were damaged by the armed conflict between the eastern-based army and forces of the UN-backed government.

“Through Libya stabilization (project), UNDP fully rehabilitated and handed over the Abdulbasit Al Hamroni School, Al Hakh Revolution School and Al Jelani Al Gargoti School located in Greater Tripoli,” UNDP said in a statement.

“After rehabilitation, 1,190 students will enjoy better education in an adequate learning environment,” the statement said.
