PFG in Tobruk close oil port and suspend exports

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TOBRUK – Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) members in Tobruk closed the Hariga oil port and suspended oil exports, in protest over the failure to resolve the dispute over suspending their salaries.

PFG members confirmed in a statement that the closure came after the end of the agreed deadline to suspend oil exports through the Hariga oil port, which took place in the presence of the city’s dignities, its council, the Security Directorate, Petroleum Facilities Guard officers and the controller of the Hariga oil port.

The memebers warned of the consequences of deducting their field financial allowance in the event that there are deductions, holding all concerned parties fully responsible for stopping the export of oil.
